iOS 10.3.2 ipsw Download

In this post you will able to download ios 10.3.2 ipsw for your device. A file with the IPSW file extension is an Apple Device Software Update file used with iPhone, iPod touch, iPad, and Apple TV devices. IPSW files are released from Apple and are intended to add new features and fix security vulnerabilities in compatible devices.

In the Apple ecosystem there are many types of files, some of which we do not know, but most likely in the future we will use for something. Today we are going to solve one of the most popular questions on that subject: what is an IPSW file? A format that we will use in several tutorials from now and that will also serve to restore an iPhone, iPad or iPod.

IPSW format is used by iTunes to install an iOS firmware on an iPhone, iPod or iPad. It is necessary when we restore the iPhone and also, if you are one of the supporters make the Jailbrake, you will have to use it to “release” your version of iOS.

What is an IPSW file?

Each mobile operating system has a format that “packs” each of the versions that are appearing. In the case of Apple and its devices, each version of iOS has an associated IPSW file that contains all the data prepared to install it.

If you want to get the IPSW of your version of iOS, I recommend you use one of these pages. I have gotten out of more of a hurry and I totally recommend them. Here are the links, where you can find all IPSW for iPhone, iPad, iPod, tvOS:

Can I change iOS if I install a lower IPSW?

The answer is “depends on”. “Signature” versions of iOS Apple over a period of time. This means that your phone will not accept the installation of an IPSW with a version of iOS less than the signature Apple at the moment in which you try, unless you use some software like TinyUmbrella, which we will discuss later.

As you can see, IPSW files are very useful, especially when restoring our iPhone, iPad, iPod or Apple TV.
